The Rocky Mountain Section of the American Water Works Association is now accepting nominations for 2007 Section Awards. The following awards are available.
RALPH M. LEIDHOLDT WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR AWARD This award is to recognize an outstanding water treatment plant operator within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It can be given annually to recognize a water treatment plant operator for exceptional performance, dedication and teamwork.
WATER TREATMENT PLANT MAINTENANCE AWARD This award is to recognize an outstanding water treatment plant maintenance person within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It can be given annually to recognize a maintenance person for exceptional performance, dedication and teamwork.
DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OPERATOR AWARD This award is to recognize an outstanding distribution system operator within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It can be given annually to recognize a water distribution system operator for exceptional performance, dedication and teamwork.
OUTSTANDING WATER TREATMENT PLANT AWARD This award is to recognize an outstanding treatment plant within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It can be given annually to recognize a water treatment plant for exceptional performance, dedication and teamwork.
OUTSTANDING WATER LABORATORY AWARD This award is to recognize an outstanding water laboratory within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It can be given annually to recognize a water laboratory for exceptional performance, dedication and teamwork.
This is an excellent way to say thanks to one of your fellow utility employees or treatment plant or laboratory operations and for them to be recognized by their peers in the industry. The forms only take a few minutes to complete. The winners will be recognized at the annual conference in Vail, Colorado in September.
This award is to recognize outstanding research conducted on water related topics within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It can be given annually to recognize members of academia, utility employees, or engineers for exceptional performance and dedication to improving water quality and treatment processes.
ALICE DARILEK WATER CONSERVATION AWARD The Alice Darilek Award is to recognize an outstanding contributor to the water conservation field within the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Water Works Association. It is named in honor of Alice Darilek, whose dedicated work in New Mexico helped water conservation efforts throughout the region. The award can be given annually to recognize a water conservation professional for exceptional performance and commitment to water conservation in the region.
